FAQ'S
Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book your services?

Once I receive an inquiry form and have responded with my availability, we will discuss the details of your day and what services will be needed. Once a contract is signed and the retainer deposit has been paid, your date will be secured and booked. As a general guideline, your day is not completely secured or booked until both of these items have been received.

Are your services available on-site?

Yes! I am currently a mobile beauty business based out of Kailua Kona, Hawai'i (Big Island) offering all of my services on-site at your location. I am available for travel within the Hawaiian islands as well as to the Mainland. I am able to travel to your hotel room, home, or wedding venue! I like to find the best view and the best lighting for our setup that day. I have professional lighting and a director's chair if we need to make for the most ideal conditions anywhere!

How long will my services take?

Ideally for brides, I like to allot 2-3 hours depending on your desired look. As for bridal party & family members, I typically allot 30-45 minutes for each hair & makeup service. I like to leave 15 minutes for arrival & setup time as well as 15-20 minutes at the end for touchups.

Is a trial run required?

No! A trial run is always recommend, especially if you are having a hard time deciding between styles or don't have any idea at all, but it is never mandatory. I feel comfortable & confident creating something beautiful for you either way. I know it can be hard to take away from your vacation time!

Do you offer any discounts?

My rates are firm and non-negotiable. Please inquire for a Kama'aina discount, Hawai'i ID required.

I'm ready to book! What's next?

When is the best time to book?

Most brides book my services 6-9 months in advance. But as soon as possible is best! We live in a high traffic destination wedding location that services thousands of weddings a year. My services can be in high demand, especially during peak travel seasons. They are offered on a first come, first serve basis as per the booking procedures. As a guideline, I do not start booking procedures until 1 year prior to your wedding date.

How does the timing work for my wedding day?

After we have finalized our services for the day, I will curate a schedule for us. It will include a detailed timeline for the day based off what time you need to be finished getting ready by. The timeline will have detailed appointment slots for each service as well time allotted for setup & touchups.

What type of products do you use?

I have been a professional makeup artist for 10 years now and I sure have had my brushes in a lot of different types of makeup! All products are professional grade, high quality products that have been carefully tested & chosen for my kit. I use products that can withstand our Hawai'i humidity and last through water & sweat exposure while giving you beautiful, lightweight, & comfortable complexion. I strive to keep my kit eco-friendly by cutting down on plastic usage, using bamboo disposables, aluminum spray bottles, and choosing vegan & cruelty-free products whenever possible. I use brands like Danessa Myricks, Pat McGrath,  Kevyn Aucoin, Scott Barnes, Jouer, Melt, & Sigma.

Do you offer any additional services besides weddings?

Yes! I am available for a variety of different beauty services maternity shoots, professional headshots, family sessions, corporate & commercial events, creative artistry, and boudoir sessions (which are great to add on to any bridal service!)

Can I send you my inspiration photos?

Absolutely! I LOVE to see your vision and can't wait to bring it to life. Photos sometimes can help you explain what look you're going for better than words. Feel free to attach any screenshots or pinterest pictures for all of the inspiration!
